zurwollke
zurwollke is a hall living project and sees itself as a dedicated living and creative space. It offers space for communally organized life, artistic and political work as well as for occasional public events. The core of the project is the open hall with its overhead collective spaces and mobile living towers/rollspaces. The hall is permeably connected to the courtyard and the other hall and cooperative apartments. A diverse mix consisting of individual residents*, families, artists*, and infrastructure users* is animating the project.
In the hall, the following facilities have been built or are still in the process of being built: 7 residential towers, 2 residential studios, 4 studio spaces, 6 Coworking spaces, sleeping spaces for guests, collective areas, 2 kitchens (main kitchen and kitchenette), 3 bathrooms (2 showers and 1 bathtub), storage space for common property, temporary niches, bridges, galleries....
In addition, zurwollke profit from the common infrastructures of the Zollhaus Siedlung:
courtyard (100m2, adjacent to hall apartments), roof terraces, Gleisterrasse, foyer, laundromat, drying room, box rooms. Various common rooms, guest rooms, meeting rooms, etc can be rented additionally by the hour or day.

Hallenwohnen
Hallenwohnen exists since a while. Since January 2021 it happens for the first time legally in Switzerland.
Group
zurwollke is 22 adults and 9 childern. 11 of us live here permentantly, 10 of us live here part time, 10 of us work here.
